An AI consultant in Christchurch who builds the fix and proves what it saved.

That means I look at how your business runs, find the repetitive admin that's eating your team's time, and build a tool that does it for them. Usually that tool uses AI. Then I measure how much time and money it saves. It takes ninety days.

The work is rarely glamorous.

It's usually one of these.

  1. 01

Quotes that cover what the job actually costs, with current labour rates, travel and return visits built in.

  2. 02

Invoices that go out the day the job finishes.

  3. 03

Entering an order once, and every system gets it.

  4. 04

Approvals under $2,000 that go through without waiting on the owner.

  5. 05

Knowing which clients and jobs actually make you money, straight from your own records.

Every one of those is time and money you can get back. Before anything gets built, I work out what each one is worth in dollars, using what you pay your staff.

You pick one. I build it.

We start with the three jobs that matter most to you and your managers. I go through your own numbers, work out what each one is worth in dollars, and you pick one. I build the tool, your team uses it for thirty days, and we measure it the same way we did at the start. That's The Shift, a 90-day project from start to finish.

If you'd rather start smaller, start with The Read-Out: a two-week check of what your business is worth now, and what it could be worth. It begins with The Viewpoint, a 20-question survey you and your managers each fill in on your own. $2,500 + GST.

The privacy and policy side.

Most of what I build uses AI, or gets software to do a repetitive job on its own. Each one comes with the basics that should go with it.

  • A simple AI policy.
  • A check of the data your team is putting into these tools.
  • What the Privacy Act means for how you're using them.

I trained as a designer.

Design teaches you that what you're asked for isn't always what's needed. So I start with the people doing the work and the numbers, then build it with your team.

I ran an in-house design studio, then worked in marketing, fundraising and innovation for charities. For the last two years I've run the day-to-day side of a business, putting AI and automated tools into everyday work. I have an MBA. Based in Christchurch.

From tools I've built

Sixty hours a month → a ten-minute check each morning

Three days → an afternoon

Six to ten regular jobs now run start to finish without anyone touching them.

Common questions

  • How much does an AI consultant cost?

The Read-Out, my two-week check, is $2,500 + GST. The Shift, my 90-day project, is $7,500 + GST for the first three weeks, and most full projects start from $22,500 + GST. Before you commit to the build, you'll see what it saves in dollars and how quickly it pays for itself.

  • Do we need to be a tech business to use AI?

No. I work with businesses and charities of 15 to 100 people, big enough to have managers. The work is everyday admin: quotes, invoices, approvals and reports.

  • What if the AI doesn't work?

If the number we're tracking doesn't move, I write it up that way. You keep the tool, my findings and the write-up, and you get $7,500 off the first three weeks of your next 90-day project.

  • Who owns what gets built?

You do. Everything I find and build is yours once it's paid for, including the right to carry on without me. When I hand it over, someone on your team looks after it, and they get a one-page how-to.

  • Do you only work in Christchurch?

I'm based in Christchurch and work with businesses and charities across Canterbury and the rest of New Zealand.

Give me a ring.

There's nothing to fill in first. Email or ring, whatever's easiest. If I can help, I'll tell you straight. If I can't, I'll usually know who can.
