Do it as a team
Your own score is useful. The spread across your leadership team is more useful, and it only shows up once everyone has done it on their own, without comparing notes first. Where you disagree about your own organisation is usually where the gains are.
Your score
| Score out of 20 | What it usually means |
|---|---|
| 16 or more | The fundamentals are in place. The gains are in the next level up |
| 10 to 15 | Where most organisations sit. Two or three of the gaps are usually worth real money |
| 9 or fewer | Plenty to go after, and it’s normally one thing showing up in five places |
Who sees your answers
They come to me and nobody else. If your team does it together, I pool the results and don’t attribute anything to anyone. In teams under six I report the range only.
Give me a ring.
There's nothing to fill in first. Email or ring, whatever's easiest. If I can help, I'll tell you straight. If I can't, I'll usually know who can.
